In the South Veluwe watershed in the Netherlands, we are bringing together residents with different backgrounds to foster a culture of care for each other, for the watershed and for future generations.
With a team of local weavers, we are strengthening the territory’s autonomy, sovereignty and resilience. We do this through stimulating agroecological production in the watershed, enhancing high end local processing capacity, developing regenerative recreation and tourism, advocating for a pesticide-free watershed and setting up a regional fund and land trust.
We also celebrate old and new cultures in our watershed by hosting ceremonies, art and festivals, and creating brave spaces that include those with lived experience of injustice. Read more
